Paperbacks & Protagonists' Bookish Awards - Nominations

Welcome, welcome to my very own Bookish Awards! I've wanted to do this for a while and was originally planning on doing a 2014-only awards at the end of the year. However, excitement got the better of me, so I have decided to host awards that are open up to any books regardless of the year...now, onto the different categories and rules!

General Rules:
1. Nominations must only be relevant to YA novels. (Or novels that are read by a lot of YA readers.)
2. Nominations are open from the time this is posted until 12:00am AEST on Wednesday the 18th of June, 2014.
3. If nominations for a category exceed over 10 nominees, the most popular 10 nominees will move onto the voting round. 
4. You may nominate more than once, and you may nominate more than one character/book/etc per category.

* Best Female Secondary Character

* Best Debut Author (They must've published their debut book in between 18/06/2013 and 18/06/2014 and have not had anything else published so far.)
* Best Setting

* Best Dystopian
* Best Coming of Age
* Best Fantasy
* Best Paranormal
* Best Historical Fiction
* Best Romance
* Best Series (All books in the series must be published by 18/06/2014)
* Best Book to Screen Adaptation (The film/tv series/web series must be released before 18/06/2014)
* Best Contemporary
